Manchester United is reportedly looking to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer. The 26-year-old full-back could leave the club for £40 million less than Manchester United paid to sign him. Wan-Bissaka joined the Red Devils from Crystal Palace in 2019 for a substantial £50 million fee. At that time, he was one of the most promising young players in the Premier League, having impressed during his time at Selhurst Park.

 

 

Wan-Bissaka’s tenure at Manchester United needs to be more consistent. While he has had some strong performances, he has also struggled to maintain a regular spot in the starting lineup. This inconsistency has led to speculation about his future at the club, with reports suggesting that Manchester United is now open to offers for the defender.

 

Inter Milan’s Interest

Recent reports from Italy indicate that Inter Milan is interested in signing Wan-Bissaka. The Serie A club is said to be willing to pay around £10 million for him, a significant drop from the amount Manchester United initially spent. Inter Milan is reportedly preparing a three-year contract for Wan-Bissaka, offering him a weekly wage of £44,000. There is also an option to extend the contract by an additional year.

 

Inter Milan sees Wan-Bissaka as a potential replacement for Denzel Dumfries. Currently playing for Inter, the Dutch defender has stalled on his contract talks and might be sold this summer. Dumfries has attracted interest from several clubs, including Manchester United. However, Inter Milan is determined not to sell him for less than £43.5 million. Dumfries’ contract, like Wan-Bissaka’s, runs until 2025.

 

Wan-Bissaka has had a season with mixed results, featuring in 30 matches across all competitions under Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag. Despite his ups and downs, he remains a player with significant potential, and Inter Milan hopes he can fill the gap if Dumfries leaves.

 

Wan-Bissaka’s strengths include his defensive capabilities, especially tackling and one-on-one defending. However, critics have pointed out his limitations in attacking play, particularly his crossing and positioning in the offensive half.
