Goodbye for now!
It was a fantastic start to week two of the new Premier League season, with Brighton leaving it late to maintain their 100 percent record against Manchester United.
It took a while for the game at the Amex to fire into life. But when it did, it was a real cracker.
Brighton are top of the table as we head into five more Premier League games on this busy Saturday afternoon.
Later, there’s a mouthwatering fixture at Villa Park as Aston Villa face Arsenal.
You can follow all of the updates for that one here.
For now, from me, Adam Hancock, goodbye!

‘We move on, very positive’
Andre Onana has been put forward to dissect that Manchester United defeat in a TV interview:
“It’s difficult, but we stay positive, we have big players, we are a big club and we have a lot of big ambition this season. We move on, very positive.”
The United keeper is hoping that his teammates can use this defeat as a way of learning ahead of their next league game against Liverpool.
“Through the tough times, the only thing to get through is to be together. We will look back, talk with each other and look a the videos of this game,” Onana said.
“[We want] to win everything and every game. Otherwise, what are we here for? When you wear this shirt, it is one of the biggest clubs in the world.”

United brought back down to earth
After winning the FA Cup and taking all three points against Fulham, there was a bit of optimism about Manchester United heading into this fixture.
But much like the weather in Brighton, the dark clouds have returned for Erik ten Hag.
It’s another defeat for them in the Premier League after such a disappointing campaign last season.

Pedro slays United
We’ve just heard from the match winner – Joao Pedro.
“I’m very happy for the win. I think this goal at the end shows how much we want to win the game. It’s the first game at home against a big team,” he said.
“I cannot feel better than today. The team did well, but now we need to rest as we have another big game next weekend.”
Pedro also spoke fondly of Brighton’s new manager, Fabian Hurzeler.
“He is a very good person, he always tries to push us up to believe in ourselves and to keep going.
“The gaffer said to us, ‘We need to believe in ourselves’. We know they are United, a big club, but everyone wanted to show our power. This is what motivates us to fight against a big team”.

Brighton stay top
Fabian Hurzeler must be wondering what all the fuss is about when it comes to the Premier League.
He’s walked in and got Brighton top of the league.
It’s (of course) early days yet, but there’s plenty to be optimistic about at the Amex.

Brighton have six points from six
The Amex is bouncing as the now-universal celebration song Freed from Desire rings out.
There’s a bit of a heated conversation between Ten Hag and Zirkzee – potentially about that late disallowed United goal.

Gilmour and Minteh stand over it and the Scotsman steps up to take it. He drills the ball into the wall, much to the frustration of the crowd.
Moments later, Mainoo goes into the book for a foul on Baleba.

Goal disallowed!
VAR has chalked it off!
The reason: The last touch before the ball crossed the line came off Zirkzee’s knee.
The Dutch forward was actually in an offside position so the goal is rightly ruled out. It’s unfortunate for United, Zirkzee was only trying to slide in to get onto the end of Fernandes’s initial cross.

Diallo is in the thick of it again, breaking down the right. He plays Fernandes in, with the United skipper whipping a low cross across the face of goal.
Garnacho scores into an empty net at the back post.

Diallo’s goal stands
There’s a VAR check after that goal, but Diallo was played onside by van Hecke and the goal stands.
It was a brilliant run from the United youngster, beating one man in the box before smashing his effort home.
That goal has officially been given to Diallo despite the deflection.

Welbeck hits the bar!
Milner wins a free kick on the left after having his shirt pulled. The ball is almost on the byline and not far from the edge of the penalty area.
Minteh delivers an excellent ball into the box, finding the head of Welbeck. The former United man is so close to scoring a second, with his header crashing against the bar.
