I’m not happy the way it all ended it’s very unprofessional – Christiano Ronaldo

Portuguese Forward, Cristiano Ronaldo was recently on a podcast with Rio Ferdinand and he revealed that he’s not happy with the way things ended between him and Manchester United but he still loves the club regardless.

The five times Ballon D’Or winner stated that he loves Manchester United so much and that he wish them nothing but the best. Cristiano Ronaldo further stressed that he’s still standing on what he said during his interview with Piers Morgan some couple of months ago and that the owners of Man United needs to rebuild everything in the club.

“In his Words”

“I’m not happy with the way it all happened but in the same way, we can not control some point in our life sometimes. Manchester United is not my issue anymore, I said what I have to say and for me, it’s done. But to be honest Rio, what I wish for Manchester United is what I wish for myself, the best. And I love that club, I’m not that kind of guy that easily forget the past”.

“During my second spell at the club, I was the third best scorer in the League, I scored in all the group stages of the UEFA Champions League, I did amazing. But as I told you, Manchester United need to rebuild everything, I repeat, I still love Manchester United and I wish them the best”, Cristiano Ronaldo said and it stirred massive reactions from the general public. Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has addressed recent remarks made by Cristiano Ronaldo, where the Portuguese legend suggested that United is not capable of winning the Premier League. In a press conference, Ten Hag was asked to comment on Ronaldo’s statements, to which he responded with calm professionalism.

“He said that Manchester United can’t win the Premier League. He said this, if you read the article very well,” Ten Hag remarked, acknowledging Ronaldo’s critique while steering clear of any heated response.

The Dutchman was clear in his stance, suggesting that while Ronaldo is entitled to his opinion, his focus remains on the task at hand, leading Manchester United to success. “Ronaldo is far away in Saudi, far away from Manchester. Everyone can have an opinion. It’s okay!” Ten Hag said, downplaying any tension between himself and his former player.

The comments come as no surprise, given Ronaldo’s high-profile exit from Manchester United last season after a public fallout with the club and its management. Now playing for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo has found success in the Middle East, but that hasn’t stopped him from offering his views on the state of his former club.

Ten Hag’s response was measured and professional, indicating that he is more focused on the current squad and their ambitions. The Manchester United manager is keen on maintaining a positive atmosphere around the team as they look to compete in both the Premier League and other major competitions.

Ultimately, Ten Hag seemed unbothered by Ronaldo’s words, keeping his focus on moving Manchester United forward rather than engaging in any public back-and-forth with the iconic forward.
