He has been very much impressive’ Paul Pogba commends and I think he should have been kept
Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has shown his admiration for Jadon Sancho’s impressive start at Chelsea, leaving a comment on the winger’s Instagram post, according to Sportskeeda.
Sancho, who made a deadline-day move to Stamford Bridge, has wasted no time in showcasing his quality, recording two assists in just two games for the Blues.
The 24-year-old’s latest assist came in Chelsea’s 3-0 thrashing of West Ham, further highlighting his resurgence since leaving Old Trafford.
Pogba’s comment, simply “Him,” is a nod of approval from a respected teammate and fellow professional.
Sancho’s Chelsea move has revitalized his career after a tumultuous spell at Manchester United, where he clashed with manager Erik ten Hag last season.
The English winger was banished from the first team and sent on loan to Borussia Dortmund, where he helped the German side reach the Champions League final.
Despite seeming to mend things with Ten Hag during pre-season, Sancho’s opportunities at Manchester United were limited, prompting his move to Chelsea.
That decision has already paid dividends, with Sancho’s assists proving crucial in Chelsea’s wins over Bournemouth and West Ham.
As Sancho continues to impress, he will be hopeful of reigniting his England career, having fallen out of favor in recent months.
Meanwhile, Manchester United’s struggles continue, with a 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace leaving them in 11th place in the Premier League table.
In contrast, Chelsea’s strong win has propelled them to 4th, with 10 points from five games.
Pogba’s comment serves as a testament to Sancho’s quality and potential.
With Sancho’s Chelsea career blossoming, fans will be eager to see if he can maintain this level of performance and potentially earn a recall to the England national team.
Man Utd open their Europa League campaign on Wednesday and with eight league fixtures and a deeper bench Erik ten Hag should blood some youngsters.

Gabriele Biancheri celebrates scoring against Manchester City Under-18s this season
It might have been a frustrating Saturday in front of goal for Manchester United but for Adam Lawrence’s Under-18s it was another day when the youngsters couldn’t stop scoring.
After winning a treble last season the U-18s have picked up where they left off with four wins from four in the U18 Premier League so far this term. After back-to-back 2-0 wins against Manchester City and Liverpool, Lawrence’s youngsters have now stuck nine past Newcastle and Middlesbrough in successive weeks.
Since the start of last season they have lost two of their last 28 league fixtures, scoring 91 goals in the process. This season 18-year-old forward Gabriele Binacheri has been filling his boots and he now has eight goals in five games for the U-18s, as well as a strike for Travis Binnion’s U-21s in Premier League 2.
The former Cardiff City youngster, who joined United in 2023, now has 17 goals and three assists in 27 games for the U-18s, as well as three in five for the U-21s. As helpful as he is proving to be for Lawrence’s side, a promotion is surely incoming.
He was an unused substitute in the thrilling EFL Trophy win at Barnsley back in August, with Ethan Wheatley playing the 90 minutes and Wheatley is the striker closer to the first-team picture. He is likely to be in the squad to face FC Twente again on Wednesday.
If Wheatley is included in that squad – and United can name 12 substitutes for a Europa League tie so it would make sense – then perhaps Biancheri will get his chance to lead the line at Doncaster in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday night. But with the deeper bench allowed for European games and the fact United should cruise to a top-eight finish, there is an argument that some of these games can be used to give young players a taste of first-team action.
Biancheri, who turned 18 last week, might be a contender to make the step up in attacking areas, while it would surely make sense to include 17-year-old Harry Amass on an enlarged bench. It should also present another opportunity for Toby Collyer.
But there is excitement at Carrington around Biancheri, who has already had exposure to first-team training and is on the radar of Erik ten Hag. His goalscoring really began to flourish towards the end of last season and he has been electric so far this term.
He is eligible to represent Wales and Italy in international football and is currently in the Wales U-19s set-up. If he continues to find the back of the net at his current rate apromotion could be coming for club and country.
