WHAT HAPPENED?
The shot stopper was taken off with less than 10 minutes left in his team’s 3-0 win in World Cup qualifying on Friday after suffering with discomfort. After limping off the field, Fabrice Ondoa took his place.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The injury will come as a big concern to United manager Erik ten Hag given the Red Devils’ long list of fitness issues. Striker Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen both had to withdraw from international duty after sustaining injuries. Meanwhile defenders Jonny Evans, Lisandro Martinez and Tyrell Malacia are all out and midfielder Casemiro is missing until January.
DID YOU KNOW?
The injury to Onana is not the only issue United to have cropped up on Friday, as Marcus Rashford was also forced off during England’s win against Malta. The forward collided with Three Lions team-mate Trent Alexander-Arnold at Wembley.

WHAT NEXT FOR ONANA?
It is not yet known if Onana will feature for Cameroon when they meet Libya on Tuesday. Man Utd are back in Premier League action when they travel to Everton on Sunday, November 26.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Onana had to be replaced with less than 10 minutes to go in Cameroon’s 3-0 win over Mauritius on Friday after he felt some discomfort.
The Athletic now reports that the custodian has suffered an injury to his pubis, one of the bones that make up the pelvis as per the Cameroonian federation. They also confirmed that the United star will return to his club and is set to miss their next qualifier against Libya on Tuesday.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The injury news of their first-choice goalkeeper comes as a huge blow for the Red Devils and Erik ten Hag as the Dutch manager has a long injury list. Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen both had to withdraw from international duty after sustaining injuries while defenders Jonny Evans, Lisandro Martinez and Tyrell Malacia continue to remain out of action.
