Chelsea has reportedly expressed interest in Manchester United’s Brazilian winger Antony, with plans to bring fresh energy and creativity to Enzo Maresca’s lineup
According to Fichajes, Chelsea is exploring the possibility of a transfer for Antony, whom they see as a valuable asset to add versatility and speed on the wing.
Since Antony’s high-profile move to Manchester United from Ajax in 2022, his performances have had moments of brilliance, though he’s struggled with consistency in the Premier League. Chelsea, however, sees potential in the 23-year-old to add “greater dynamism” that could complement their existing roster, particularly enhancing their play in wide areas and linking well with midfield star Enzo Fernández. The Brazilian’s flair and direct playstyle align with Chelsea’s current approach, making him a potential fit in Maresca’s plans for a rejuvenated squad.
Financially, bringing Antony to Stamford Bridge may involve significant negotiations, as Manchester United invested heavily in him. However, Chelsea’s new ownership has shown a willingness to make bold transfers to revitalize the squad.
Antony’s addition could give Chelsea a competitive edge as they aim to recover from a rocky season start. Chelsea fans will be watching closely to see if this rumored interest results in a formal bid, and if Antony can indeed bring the extra flair and energy Chelsea’s attack has been missing this season.

“Manchester United FC has expressed an interest in paying Sporting SAD the amount of the aforementioned clause.”
It remains to be seen if an agreement will be reached for Amorim to become Man United’s next manager. As a result, the wait goes on to see if the 39-year-old will be in the opposition dugout at Stamford Bridge when Chelsea take on their Premier League rivals this Sunday.
