Former Manchester United Forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has reportedly been offered a way back to the Premier League and European football from Saudi Arabia.
The Al-Nassr captain has supposedly been informed that he can join Premier League club Newcastle United in 2024, according to a report from El Nacional.
Ronaldo left Manchester United in November 2022 after his contract was terminated.
He joined Saudi giants Al-Nassr in January 2023 after the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The former Juventus and Real Madrid star has been impressive at Al-Nassr, scoring 24 goals in 24 appearances in the Saudi Pro League since his arrival.
His performances In the Saudi Pro League, SPL, have caught the eye of the club’s owners, who have now allegedly offered him a path back to Europe.
The 38-year-old has been offered a move to Newcastle United, a side owned by the owners of Al-Nassr.
However, it is said that Ronaldo has not been very receptive to the idea as of yet but will likely consider it in the coming weeks ahead of the January transfer window.
Former Aston Villa attacker, Gabby Agbonlahor, has revealed that Brentford striker Ivan Toney will snub Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and join Chelsea instead.
According to Agbonlahor, only Chelsea can afford to sign Toney among the three Premier League clubs.
The England international is currently serving a ban for violating betting rules, but he would be back to action next year.
Toney has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs in recent weeks.
“Arsenal had to get Raya on loan because of FFP, so they can’t afford him. Everyone is talking about Arsenal, so they have to sell someone to get him [Ivan Toney],” Agbonlahor told talkSPORT.
“We have seen what Chelsea offers with their financial packages. Spurs won’t be able to match Chelsea, so I see him going to Chelsea (to sign Ivan Toney).”
