Tottenham fans celebrates as secret behind Jude Bellingham’s recent visit to Tottenham Hotspur revealed.
Tottenham have enjoyed a fantastic start to the new Premier League season and Ange Postecoglou’s dream signing appears to have been served on a silver platter!
Ange Postecoglou has been told to ‘lock the doors’ following Jude Bellingham’s recent visit to Hotspur Way. Following England’s 1-0 win over Australia on Friday night, the Three Lions touched down at Hotspur Way to continue their preparations ahead of a crucial European qualifier against Italy.
Gareth Southgate’s side will welcome the reigning champions to Wembley on Tuesday evening in what is expected to be a closely contested fixture. England head into the clash at the top of Group C, three points ahead of Italy who sit second.
Instead of returning to St. George’s Park in Burton upon Trent, to save travelling, the Three Lions set up base in north London. During their time at Hotspur Way, Bellingham was ambushed by lots of Tottenham academy youngsters in awe of the Real Madrid star.
The 20-year-old midfielder took a couple of minutes out of his day to chat with the children and pose for a picture. England and Spurs both co-posted the collection of images on Instagram, with the caption: “So much love for @judebellingham [blue heart emoji].”
Unsurprisingly, thousands of excitable Tottenham fans flooded the comment section with some incredible propaganda, urging Bellingham to join Ange Postecoglou’s side. One user by the handle @Angela_somova1205 wrote: “What a player [two clapping emojis] if there’s one day he’s coming to PL, could he come to Spurs [white heart emoji].”
“Bellingham to spurs here we go [handshake and laughing emojis],” wrote @4brbible. Meanwhile, @kelvin.jse wrote: “lock the doors!!!”
“Bellingham to spurs confirmed,” said @akram.afif.goat, who racked up over 350 likes on their comment. The Real Madrid star has been closely following Tottenham this season it seems – at the end August when Spurs continued their superb start to the season with a 2-0 win against Bournemouth, he was quick to congratulate James Maddison for his display on the south coast.
Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski scored either side of half-time to hand Postecoglou’s side a second consecutive 2-0 win after beating Manchester United the weekend prior. Tottenham have gone from strength to strength since then, climbing to the top of the Premier League table.
