His remarkable performance earned him the All-American Bowl Player of the Year award in 2023.

 

Recognized as a five-star recruit and the top prospect in the 2024 class, Smith committed to Ohio State University, enrolling in January 2024. He quickly made an impact during spring drills, impressing coaches and teammates alike. Standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 215 pounds, Smith’s combination of size, speed, and work ethic drew comparisons to former Buckeye greats.
