No doubt, Ohio State is peaking at the perfect time. They’ve found their rhythm, and their defense is locking down opponents like we expected earlier in the season. But next Friday’s matchup is going to be a battle, and I’m rolling with Texas to take the win.
The Longhorns have been tested all year and have shown they can rise to the occasion when it matters most. The defense has been physical, the offense is balanced, and Quinn Ewers is making all the right reads. If the O-line gives him time to work, OSU’s defense will have a tough time keeping up. On the other side of the ball, Texas’ front seven is going to need to step up and contain OSU’s rushing attack while forcing pressure on their QB.
This game is going to come down to execution in the trenches and which team makes fewer mistakes. If Texas can limit turnovers and take advantage of their red-zone opportunities, I see them pulling out a hard-fought win.
HOOK ‘EM!
