National recruiting analyst Sam Spiegelman from Rivals.com has predicted that Texas will emerge victorious in this competitive recruitment battle.
Ojo, a 6-foot-6, 275-pound standout from Mansfield, Texas, is highly regarded in the 2026 recruiting cycle. According to 247Sports, he ranks as the No. 6 offensive tackle nationally and the No. 4 player in Texas, placing him at No. 29 overall in his class.
Spiegelman highlighted Ojo as a top priority for the Longhorns, noting his recent visits to Austin and a scheduled official visit in June. Despite strong interest from programs like Michigan, Florida, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, and particularly Ohio State, Texas appears to be in a favorable position. Spiegelman stated, “Top-30 recruit Felix Ojo is one of the top targets on the Longhorns’ board… we like where Steve Sarkisian and Texas stand at this time with the touted in-state offensive lineman.”
