Feaster’s journey has been marked by his recent decision to reclassify from the 2027 to the 2026 recruiting class, a move inspired by Alabama’s Ryan Williams, who made a similar transition. Feaster explained his motivation, stating, “I saw Ryan Williams do it. That was the biggest thing. I felt like I can do it. I felt like I was ready for college.”

 

His high school career has been impressive. As a sophomore in 2024, Feaster recorded 57 receptions for 824 yards and 13 touchdowns, contributing significantly to DeSoto High School’s 16-0 state championship season. His performance earned him recognition as a MaxPreps Sophomore All-American.

 

The decision to commit to Texas is influenced by several factors. Feaster has visited the Longhorns multiple times and has expressed admiration for their offensive strategy under head coach Steve Sarkisian. He noted, “Definitely the offense. They love to pass the ball. And I love the coaching at Texas. Sark made that program have a big jump for sure. He’s a great coach and makes a team just like that. He’s a great recruiter and a great coach.”
