However, his statistical dominance is undeniable. Barrett holds the Buckeyes’ all-time passing record with 9,434 yards and also leads in career touchdown passes with 104. His ability to lead the offense efficiently made him one of the most productive quarterbacks in Big Ten history.

 

Although Barrett’s individual accolades are impressive, his impact on Ohio State’s success during his tenure was even more significant. As a redshirt freshman in 2014, he stepped in after an early-season injury to Braxton Miller and guided the Buckeyes to an 11-1 record before suffering his own injury in the regular-season finale against Michigan.
