In a historic moment for Tennessee women’s basketball, Lady Volunteers head coach Kim Caldwell was honored with the inaugural “Trailblazer Award.” This prestigious accolade, recognizing individuals who have made a lasting impact on the program and the sport, was presented by three legendary former Lady Vols: Candace Parker, Chamique Holdsclaw, and Tamika Catchings.

Since taking over as head coach, Caldwell has quickly established herself as a dynamic leader, emphasizing a strong team culture, player development, and championship aspirations.

Receiving the award from three of the greatest players in program history added even more significance to the moment.
