The big winners at the 2023 Ballon D’Or held in France
Being a top performer is always appreciated at the end of the season. France Football officially announced the winners for the 2023 Ballon D’Or, Kopa Trophy and Yashin Trophy from the Footballers nominated for the award.
Lionel Messi was announced as the 2023 Ballon d’Or award winner. The Argentine footballer winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup made him win his eighth Ballon d’Or award.
s close competitor for the award Erling Haaland came second. The Norwegian footballer was awarded the Gerd Muller trophy for being the best striker in 2023. He scored 56 goals and gave 10 assists for Manchester City and his national team in 2022/2023 season.
Yashin Trophy was given to Emiliano Martinez. The Argentine goalkeeper who plays for Aston Villa was recognized for his role in helping his national team win the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Bellingham was recognized as the best young player in the world by winning the 2023 Kopa Trophy. The English central midfielder has been outstanding for Real Madrid in 2023/2024 season scoring 13 goals and giving 3 assists in 13 matches.
