In a significant recruiting win, the Auburn Tigers have secured a commitment from four-star forward Sebastian Williams-Adams, who chose Auburn over Alabama and Texas Tech.

This decision bolsters Auburn’s 2025 recruiting class, which now ranks among the top 15 nationally.

Williams-Adams, a 6-foot-8, 230-pound standout from St. John’s High School in Houston, Texas, is ranked No. 35 overall in the 2025 class and is considered a top-10 player at his position. He averaged 21.1 points, 10.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game last season, showcasing his versatility and athleticism. His 7-foot-2 wingspan and ability to guard multiple positions make him a valuable addition to the Tigers’ roster.

Head coach Bruce Pearl praised Williams-Adams, stating, “Sebastian fits the mold of so many of the great point forwards we’ve had here at Auburn. He is tough and physical. He can guard multiple positions on the floor. He’s really hard to stay in front of off the bounce. He is a great finisher around the basket and has the potential to become a great perimeter shooter.”

Williams-Adams joins fellow four-star recruits Kaden Magwood and Simon Walker in Auburn’s 2025 class. Magwood, a top-50 combo guard from North Carolina, chose Auburn over Alabama and Texas Tech, citing the program’s guard-friendly system and the opportunity to develop under Coach Pearl.

With these commitments, Auburn continues to strengthen its position as a powerhouse in college basketball recruiting, outpacing rivals Alabama and Texas Tech in securing top talent for the upcoming seasons.
