Freeman’s stellar performance earned him multiple accolades, including National Player of the Week honors from both the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and the Division II Collegiate Commissioners Association (D2CIDA) . He also secured Player of the Week recognition from the Tennessee Sports Writers Association (TSWA) . Notably, Freeman was named to the prestigious Bevo Francis Top 100 Watch List, highlighting the top players across NCAA Division II, III, NAIA, USCAA, and NCCAA programs .
