In November 2024, Manning pledged a remarkable $10 million to the University of Tennessee Athletics Department, earmarked for constructing state-of-the-art training facilities for student-athletes. This generous donation underscores his unwavering commitment to enhancing the university’s athletic programs and supporting the development of future Volunteers .

In the fall of 2023, he was appointed as a professor of practice in the College of Communication and Information.
