David de Gea’s man of the match performance for Manchester United at Anfield against Liverpool silenced his detractors and proved just how valuable the young United shot-stopper could be.
The young Spaniard has had his moments of uncertainty—however when tasked with the role of filling the boots of the great Edwin van der Sar, isn’t that to be expected of a 20-year-old?
