🚨🚨💣 Benjamin Šeško is VERY OPEN to joining Manchester United — even without European or Champions League football in the upcoming season.
According to multiple reliable sources, including Fabrizio Romano, the young Slovenian striker is attracted by the long-term vision being laid out by Manchester United. Despite United’s failure to qualify for the UEFA Champions League, Šeško is said to be seriously considering the move due to the club’s sporting project, not just financial terms.
“The conversation between United and Sesko is entering into the finer details of the project and vision, not only financial aspects,” Romano reported. The 21-year-old forward has made it clear he wants to be part of a serious footballing project where he can continue to grow and become a key figure. United have presented a detailed plan centered around giving Šeško a leading role in the club’s attacking rebuild.
The club’s pitch has included input from Erik ten Hag, who reportedly sees Šeško as a long-term solution in the No. 9 role, possibly forming a dynamic partnership with Rasmus Højlund or replacing him if a swap deal materializes. While RB Leipzig remain reluctant to sell, the player’s openness to the move gives United a significant edge.
Šeško’s entourage is now engaged in deeper discussions with United, focusing on playing time assurances, the club’s long-term competitiveness, and their path back to elite European competition. His willingness to join without immediate Champions League football underlines his belief in the club’s future and trust in the current project.
With personal terms expected to be no issue, the pressure now falls on Manchester United to strike a deal with Leipzig, who are holding out for a fee in the €65–€70 million range. Talks are
ongoing.
