After several tense weeks of negotiations, Manchester United have finally secured the signing of a top midfield target in a deal worth £63 million plus £10 million in add-ons, bringing the total package to approximately £73 million (€85m) — as confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

 

The identity of the player has been kept tightly under wraps in recent days, but sources indicate that he is set to inherit the iconic No. 18 shirt, famously worn by club legend Paul Scholes — a strong indication of the club’s belief in his long-term impact.
