Man United eyeing move for Jonathan David, Man City to rival Arsenal for Pedro Neto 

 

According to Football Transfers, Manchester United are very interested in signing Lille striker Jonathan David during the ongoing winter transfer window.

 

The Red Devils have been poor in front of goal in the Premier League this season and they are currently the joint-third lowest scorers in the division – only Burnley and Sheffield United have scored less than them.

 

Man United need to bolster the attacking department this month and Football Transfers claim that they are looking into a deal for David.

 

 

Man City to rival Arsenal for Pedro Neto

 

Manchester City could rival Arsenal for the signature of Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto, according to a report. Neto’s impressive performances at Wolves are understood to have caught the eye of a number of Premier League clubs including Arsenal, who have been keeping tabs on the winger for some time.

 

Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in Neto, who will see his contract at Molineux expire in the summer of 2027. However, according to The Athletic , via the Manchester Evening News , Man City are monitoring Neto, although the winger is not expected to leave Wolves in January.

 

Martial nearing Man Utd exit as details still being ironed out

 

Anthony Martial is close to finally leaving Manchester United, with a permanent move to Fenerbahce looking the most likely exit route.

 

According to Sky Sports, United are in talks over the deal, with a loan not ruled out despite Martial’s contract expiring this summer. The French forward joined in a big-money switch from Monaco in 2015 but has found the last couple of years a challenge, struggling for minutes this term.

 

Barcelona rule out Romeu exit

 

Barcelona have quickly closed the door on Girona’s efforts to re-sign Oriol Romeu, according to reports on the continent (via Football Espana).

 

The midfielder, 32, returned to boyhood club Barca over the summer but hasn’t hit the ground running. Girona are said to have explored a move for a player who impressed in their colours last season, but it appears to be a non-starter.

 

Michel’s side currently sit seven points clear of Barca in the table, and level on points with league leaders Real Madrid.
