Haaland reacts as Sancho returns to Borussia Dortmund
Well, the Norway international struck up a fantastic relationship with the Londoner during their time at the Signal Iduna Park.
Haaland and Sancho shared a pitch on 46 occasions at Borussia Dortmund, winning the DFB-Pokal together in 2021.
After the Manchester United No.25 secured a loan move back to the German giants – having been exiled by Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford – the Manchester City No.9 sent him a message.

The Leeds-born striker also posted “🙏🏻🤩” in the comments section after Sancho uploaded the first image of himself back in Borussia Dortmund training.
It has been a difficult time for the City Football Academy graduate since he sealed a £73m move to Manchester United in July 2021, although it is good to see him with a smile on his face once again.
What Guardiola thought of Sancho at Manchester City
Some football fans may not even be aware that Sancho initially emerged from Manchester City’s youth ranks, due to the fact it was Borussia Dortmund where he put his name up in lights as a teenager.
The 23-year-old impressively scored 15 goals in just 22 appearances for Manchester City’s U18 side, while also providing six assists.
Sancho also made two appearances for the U19 side – scoring twice – before registering five goal involvements in seven outings for the Manchester City U21s.

However, it was in fact Manchester City who gave Sancho a platform into senior football, before Pep Guardiola allowed him to move to Borussia Dortmund in an £8m deal after he refused to train, and went back on his agreement to sign a new contract, according to the Telegraph.
Some might have felt that caused the Spaniard to completely lose interest in Sancho, but according to Martin Samuel of The Times, the 52-year-old remained a huge fan of the Camberwell-born winger, and never wanted to lose him.
Hopefully, the City Football Academy graduate can get his career back on track at Borussia Dortmund.
