Chelsea legend John Terry has now shared one thing he loves about Manchester City.
The 43-year-old made the comments when speaking to CNN.

What John Terry said about Manchester City
Well, the man from Barking admitted that he loves how Manchester City look to integrate players from the City Football Academy – when the Citizens have all the money they need to sign an expensive import from another club instead.
Terry told CNN: “What I love about Man City is they bring a player in that they’ve been working with. They know where his roots are, they know about the family.
“I think the work behind the scenes that Pep and the football club do is incredible. They could break records this year and go again. I firmly believe they will, I don’t think anyone’s near their level.”

Pep Guardiola has not shied away from handing opportunities to the City Football Academy’s finest.
Beyond the obvious examples in Phil Foden and Cole Palmer, the Spaniard has also given chances to Rico Lewis, Oscar Bobb, Mahamadou Susoho and Micah Hamilton, to name a few.
Manchester City manage youth prospects very well
At some clubs – Terry’s beloved Chelsea being one – academy gems are often cast aside in favour of an expensive signing.
For example, Chelsea’s decision to sell Marc Guehi for just £18m – before bringing Benoit Badiashile in for £35m – says it all.
Lewis Hall moving to Newcastle while Chelsea spent £60m on Marc Cucurella is another example of this strange approach.

Fortunately, while Manchester City have the financial resources to act like this too, they prefer to look within, which has seen some outstanding homegrown talents grace the Premier League under Guardiola.
Hopefully, we get to see more gems like Foden, Lewis and Bobb become first-team stars under the Spaniard.
Alfie Harrison – however – will not follow in their footsteps, as a move to Newcastle looms for the City Football Academy star.
