Gabby Agbonlahor drops two huge claims about this current Manchester City side
Gabby Agbonlahor believes this current Manchester City side is the best in the Premier League history, and doesn’t think they will lose another game this season.
City are in fabulous form at the moment, and are currently on an 11-game winning streak across all competitions.
After a wobble before the Club World Cup, City have really turned on the style, with Pep Guardiola‘s side looking ominous as they always do in the second half of the season.
Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland have both returned from injuries, and Phil Foden is in the form of his life at the moment.
Things are looking extremely positive, although the challenge from Liverpool and Arsenal for the Premier League title will be strong.
It’s going to be an exciting next few months, and in the eyes of Gabby Agbonlahor, City won’t lose a game…

Agbonlahor was speaking about City this morning on talkSPORT, and dropped two rather big claims about the current team.
In his eyes, there is no better Premier League side in the history of the competition than this one we are watching under Pep Guardiola.
He also reckons the team won’t lose another game between now and the end of the season.
He said: “I think Manchester United have been outstanding in the Premier League era. I played against some top Man United sides under Fergie.
“But this City side when you watch them… for me, the best ever Premier League side. They’ve got Haaland now, Alvarez, Doku, Grealish, Foden’s outstanding form, De Bruyne, Rodri, what he does in the middle of the park as well.
“Defensively as well, Ake, Stones, Dias, Walker, Akanji on the bench – I just think this Manchester City team now is the best ever Premier League team.”
“I don’t think Manchester City will lose another game this season. I really don’t, they’re that good.”
City look unstoppable right now, but unbeaten finish will be tough
At the moment, things are certainly going well for City and the returns of Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne are hugely significant.
City have obviously been there before in terms of putting together unbeaten runs in the second half of the season. But that will be difficult this time around, especially with City still needing to go to Anfield in the league. Arsenal could also pose a threat at the Etihad.
Regarding Agbonlahor’s claim that this is the best Premier League team in history – that is a big statement.
If he is talking about the team from last season that won the Treble, then possibly. But currently, this team hasn’t won anything yet and it is probably a debate that needs to be parked until the end of the campaign.
Also, the Centurions and Fourmidables sides may have something to say about that.
