”… Sergio Aguero left absolutely stunned by £225,000-a-week Man City player against Man United
Sergio Aguero hailed Phil Foden after his tremendous showing for Manchester City in their 3-1 win against Manchester United.
In April 2022, Aguero told TyC Sports that Foden was his “favourite player” after City’s 1-0 win against Atletico Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final.
The retired striker had also urged Pep Guardiola to start the 23-year-old a lot more frequently than he does during the same conversation.
In November, it was reported that the Argentine legend was asked by Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano about what the Englishman is like.
Sergio Aguero left “speechless” by the Phil Foden show for Manchester City against Manchester United
Sergio Aguero seems to have always held Phil Foden in very high regard, which would delight the latter, being a boyhood Sky Blues supporter.
Much like the 35-year-old, the £225,000-a-week (Sport Rac) man also put in a clutch display for City in the Manchester Derby on Sunday.

“Yes. [Phil] Foden, speechless. Crack”, he wrote.
Of course, “crack” is a popular Spanish phrase that is often used to describe an extremely skilful player.
Phil Foden must be honoured
For Sergio Aguero to go out of his way to laud Phil Foden after his scintillating performance for Manchester City against Manchester United must be an honour for him.
Aguero is arguably the club’s biggest-ever legend and for him to once again sing Foden’s praises just goes to show how special a player he is.
If a brace against United was enough to put a smile on the versatile attacker’s face, high praise from the City icon would certainly be.
Sergio Aguero remains an absolute class act, as he continues to look out for his former teammate and give him the credit he deserves.
