The only club with longer active unbeaten run than Arsenal after match day 27 of 2023/24 EPL Season

After defeating Sheffield United on match day 27 of 2023/24 Premier League season, the unbeaten run of Arsenal has extended to 7 games. However, a close look at the results of EPL clubs so far this term shows that there is one club with longer active unbeaten streak than the Gunners as per Transfermarkt. Which club is this?

Manchester City are the only outfit that currently have longer unbeaten run than Arsenal in the Premiership. The Citizens have not lost any of their last 12 games. They began their invincible streak when they visited Luton last December. The Guardiola boys went back home with a 2-1 win over the Hatters. The reigning champions were held to a 2-2 draw by Crystal Palace 6 days later. This stalemate looked unusual as City threw away a 2-0 lead in the match.

Pep Guardiola (manager of Manchester City)

The Citizens were on fire in their next game. This time Everton were beaten 3-1 at Goodison Park. Unlike the clash with the Glaziers, their hosts bungled a first half lead in the match. Guardiola got his first clean sheet of the period three days afterwards. This was in a 2-0 win over Sheffield United at Etihad Stadium.

Erling Haaland

Manchester City began 2024 with 4 successive wins against Newcastle, Burnley, Brentford and Everton. Meanwhile, the kept a clean when they made their return against the Toffees. The Haaland-inspired side had their winning streak broken with a 1-1 draw against Chelsea on February 17. They have moved on to win their three games after that.
