Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has spoken out about Jadon Sancho’s future ahead of Saturday’s Erik ten Hag League match against Burnley away.

Sancho was suspended by the club earlier this month following his public outburst over the manager’s comments about him following the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal.

The Englishman is currently absent from first team training. When asked about his future, Ten Hag said that it depends on him and that he will not be available tomorrow.

“It’s up to him [Sancho]. For the rest we are preparing for Burnley and this is our focus. He won’t be in the squad,” he told United’s official website.

Sancho must apologize to Ten Hag to save United’s career

Sancho was a second-half substitute in the first three league games of the season before being dropped from the matchday squad due to his poor attitude in training.

The 23-year-old should have responded by working hard on the pitch, but he chose to criticize the coach, saying he was being made a scapegoat.

It was no surprise that United suspended him. His prospects of reviving his career now depend on a personal apology to Ten Hag and a public statement.

So far the attacker has shown no sign of remorse. If his position remains unchanged until the new year, speculation about his departure from the club could increase.

United are reportedly willing to cut their losses on the €45 million star, but it won’t be easy to offload him this winter due to the huge salary involved.
