
The University of Texas to Honor Madison Booker’s Historic Achievement.
AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Texas is set to host a special ceremony celebrating Madison Booker, the standout guard for the Texas Longhorns women’s basketball team, after her remarkable season.
Booker has made history as the first Longhorn woman to win both the prestigious Naismith Trophy and the Associated Press Player of the Year award in the same season.
A true leader on the court, Booker’s exceptional skill, determination, and leadership propelled the Longhorns to new heights this season. Averaging impressive numbers across the board, she has been a key playmaker, demonstrating both offensive firepower and defensive tenacity.
