BREAKING: 2026 WR Jameson Powell Commits to Ole Miss

Four-star wide receiver Jameson Powell, one of the top pass-catchers in the 2026 class, has announced his commitment to Ole Miss. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound standout chose the Rebels over offers from Alabama, Georgia, Texas, and LSU.

Powell, a dynamic playmaker from Buford High School in Georgia, has been a highly sought-after prospect due to his elite speed, strong hands, and ability to create separation. In his junior season, he posted 1,200 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns, cementing himself as one of the most explosive wideouts in the country.

“I felt at home in Oxford,” Powell said. “Coach Lane Kiffin and the staff made me feel like a priority from day one. Their offensive system fits my style perfectly, and I believe they can help me reach my full potential.”

Powell’s commitment is a huge win for Kiffin and the Rebels, as they continue to stack talent on the offensive side of the ball. Known for his ability to develop receivers, Kiffin’s track record played a major role in Powell’s decision.

With Powell in the fold, Ole Miss’ 2026 recruiting class gets a major boost, adding an explosive weapon to an already promising group. The Rebels are expected to continue their strong push in recruiting, targeting other top prospects to complement Powell’s skill set.

Powell’s pledge further solidifies Ole Miss as a rising force in the SEC, and fans in Oxford can look forward to seeing him make big plays in the years to come.
