Dear Jack, Coach Day, and the Ohio State Family,
Football is a game of moments—some thrilling, some heartbreaking, but all of them unforgettable. As I prepare for the next chapter of my journey, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the respect I have for you, Jack, and for the entire Buckeyes program.
Our paths have crossed on the field, where we’ve battled fiercely, testing each other in ways only this game can. Every snap has been a lesson, every play a test of will, and every encounter a reminder of why we love this sport. Your dedication, your passion, and the standard of excellence you uphold at Ohio State have pushed me to be better—both as a player and as a person. For that, I am grateful.
To the Buckeyes community—the fans who bring The Shoe to life, the alumni who built the foundation, and the young players who dream of donning the scarlet and gray—you are part of what makes college football so special. The respect I have for this program is immense, and while we may stand on opposite sidelines, I will always appreciate the intensity and tradition that define Ohio State football.
