BREAKING NEWS: Bowl Game Rankings 4-7: Ohio State vs Texas Highlight These Classics.
There were plenty of massive moments this bowl season with the new College Football Playoff format and several other big games that defined the season. These are four classic games that took things to another level.They weren’t quite the historic bowls that made our top level, but no argument if you think any of these should rank higher.We come close to the conclusion of our ranking of all 47 bowls and College Football Playoff games with a few new classics.

Up 24-7 late in the third, Texas A&M looked like it would win in a walk. USC got a few big plays, started chipping back, and scored 21 straight to pull ahead late.The Aggies answered with a wonderful scoring drive to take the lead back in the final minutes, but USC closed out a wonderful late drive with a Kyle Ford seven-yard touchdown catch with eight seconds left for the Trojan win.

All Texas had to do with the ball at the one foot line down 21-14 in the final moments was bring in Arch Manning, try four straight tush-pushes, and one of them would’ve almost certainly worked. And if it didn’t, Ohio State would’ve had the ball on its 1 with almost two minutes to play.But because it’s Texas, it had to get cute, it ran the ball wide on second down, Ohio State’s Caleb Downs blew it up, the third down pass was tipped, and then … Jack Sawyer.Sack, strip, fumble, rumble, and 83 yards later, college football was gifted one of the greatest moments in the game’s history.So why isn’t this a little higher? Ohio State was sort of off, there were too many strange penalties, and for such a close classic, the two teams didn’t play all that great a game.And absolutely no one will remember any of that.

It was a terrific game that did exactly what it was supposed to do. Both teams were expected to play hard and tough, both teams did, and it took a final stop for Kansas State to pull it off.Rutgers got up 17 midway through the third quarter, the Wildcats roared back, and all the way around it was well-played, exciting, and everything you’d want in a random late December bowl. 4 Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl Louisville vs Washington Final Score: Louisville 35, Washington 34Line: Louisville -1.5, o/u: 49.5Last Year Bowl Ranking: 41Past Post-Bowl Rankings2022: 5, 2021: 13, 2020: NA, 2019: 21How Good Was Your Bowl? Absolutely fantastic. It was exactly what you want in a midrange bowl between two conference also-rans. Lots of energy, back-and-forth strikes, a push ahead by Louisville, a great comeback by Washington, and after close to 850 yards of total offense with just one combined turnover and eight penalties, it came down to a two-point conversion try in the final seconds for the win.
