Okpara, who transferred from Ohio State, has completed his junior season with the Volunteers. During the 2024-25 season, he averaged 7.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game, with a field goal percentage of 58.9%. Notably, he scored a career-high 16 points against Vanderbilt on January 18, 2025.

 

Earlier in the season, Okpara dealt with a significant hip pointer injury but continued to play through it, demonstrating his resilience and commitment to the team. His defensive prowess and consistent performance have been integral to Tennessee’s success.
