BREAKING NEWS: Isaiah Bond now ready to stay committed and Loyal to Texas Longhorns following.

“Being a member of the Texas Longhorn community has been a tremendous honor. I’ve learned and grown so much with my experiences in Austin,” Bond wrote in his announcement.

“To the University of Texas coaches, trainers, supporters, and my brothers in arms… thank you for your inspiration and example. I will carry each of you with me.”

Bond started 12 games for Texas in the 2024 season, earning Honorable Mention recognition for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award National Player of the Week after his performance in a 56-7 win over UTSA.

During that game, Bond was recorded at over 22 mph, showcasing his elite speed and placing him among the fastest players in the 2025 draft class. Additionally, he assembled a standout performance with five receptions for 103 yards and two touchdowns, marking his first career 100-plus-yard receiving effort and his first career multi-touchdown game.

Ranked as the No. 6 wide receiver by ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr., Bond finished the season with 540 yards on 34 receptions and five touchdowns. He also averaged 24.5 rushing yards per carry, adding a touchdown on the ground.

Bond transferred to Texas from Alabama in the spring of 2024, having made his mark in the Iron Bowl with a memorable fourth-and-goal on the 31-yard line catch, dubbed “Gravedigger.” The play, which came with 32 seconds left on the clock, lifted Alabama to a 27-24 win over Auburn on Nov. 25, 2023.

The 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 180-pound prospect is projected to be a top-40 pick by Field Level Media after helping fill the void left in Texas by wide receivers Xavier Worthy and Adonai Mitchell’s departure to the NFL in 2024.

In his three seasons of college football, Bond totaled 99 catches for 1,428 yards and 10 receiving touchdowns.

“To the team that I am soon to join, I can’t wait to make an impact on our future success and dominance in the National Football League,” Bond wrote. “You will have the best of me.”

Bond is yet another addition to the growing list of NFL-bound Longhorns, joining receiver Matthew Golden, running back Jaydon Blue and defensive back Andrew Mukuba.
