KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Lady Volunteers head coach Kim Caldwell received a prestigious honor as she was presented with the inaugural “Trailblazer Award.” The award, created to recognize groundbreaking contributions to women’s basketball, was handed to Caldwell by three legendary former Lady Vols: Candace Parker, Chamique Holdsclaw, and Tamika Catchings.

 

Caldwell, who took over as Tennessee’s head coach, has quickly made an impact on the program. Her leadership and dedication to the Lady Vols have been widely recognized, making her a fitting recipient of the first-ever Trailblazer Award. This distinction highlights her efforts in advancing women’s basketball, both on and off the court.
