Breaking news: Ohio State’s five-star wide receiver commit, Chris Henry Jr., has scheduled four official visits for the upcoming summer.

Despite his commitment to the Buckeyes since July 28, 2023, Henry plans to explore other programs before finalizing his decision.

Henry’s visit itinerary begins with the University of Miami from May 30 to June 1, followed by the University of Southern California (USC) from June 6 to June 8, and the University of Oregon from June 13 to June 15. He will conclude his visits at Ohio State from June 20 to June 22.

Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 195 pounds, Henry is regarded as the nation’s No. 1 overall recruit in the 2026 class. He is the son of the late NFL wide receiver Chris Henry. Currently attending Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, Henry has previously visited both Oregon and USC earlier this year.

Ohio State recently promoted wide receivers coach Brian Hartline to offensive coordinator, a move that has resonated positively with Henry. He expressed confidence in Hartline’s ability to develop receivers and optimize their performance within the offense.

While Henry remains committed to Ohio State, the upcoming official visits to Miami, USC, and Oregon indicate his openness to evaluating all options before finalizing his college choice.
