Breaking: Tennessee Football Signee Earns Five-Star Status in Final 2025 Recruiting Rankings…
In the final 2025 recruiting rankings, Tennessee football signee Isaiah Campbell has been elevated to five-star status by On3, positioning him as the No. 30 overall player in the nation.
Campbell, a 6-foot-4, 280-pound defensive lineman from Durham, North Carolina, initially committed to Clemson before reopening his recruitment in September. Following visits to North Carolina and Tennessee, he chose to sign with the Volunteers during the early signing period, selecting them over the Tigers and Tar Heels.
With Campbell’s upgraded ranking, Tennessee’s 2025 recruiting class now boasts two five-star prospects, the other being offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. This development enhances the class’s national standing, with On3 ranking Tennessee at No. 10.
Campbell has already enrolled at Tennessee and is participating in winter workouts ahead of spring practice. While his exact position on the defensive line—whether at strongside defensive end or defensive tackle—remains to be determined, his versatility and talent are expected to make a significant impact on the Volunteers’ defense in the coming seasons.
This achievement underscores Tennessee’s successful recruiting efforts under head coach Josh Heupel, as the program continues to attract top-tier talent to compete at the highest levels of college fo
otball.
