Five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench Jr. has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide, choosing them over other top programs such as Florida, Texas, and Tennessee.

This decision marks a significant victory for Alabama, further solidifying their already formidable 2025 recruiting class.

Ffrench, a standout from Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida, is ranked as the No. 4 wide receiver and the No. 13 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. His commitment adds to Alabama’s impressive haul, joining fellow five-star receiver Ryan Williams, who reclassified to the 2024 class and made an immediate impact as a freshman.

Known for his exceptional route-running, agility, and playmaking ability, Ffrench’s junior season statistics include 44 receptions for 671 yards and five touchdowns. His athleticism is further highlighted by his participation in basketball and track, where he posted an impressive 11.67-second 100-meter dash.

Alabama’s reputation for developing NFL-caliber wide receivers under head coach Nick Saban likely played a pivotal role in Ffrench’s decision. The program has a storied history of producing elite talent at the position, including Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley, DeVonta Smith, and Jaylen Waddle.

Ffrench’s commitment is a significant blow to the recruiting efforts of Florida, Texas, and Tennessee, all of whom were considered strong contenders for his services. His decision underscores Alabama’s continued dominance on the recruiting trail and their ability to attract top-tier talent from across the nation.

With Ffrench’s addition, Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class is poised to maintain its status among the nation’s elite, ensuring the Crimson Tide’s competitive edge for years to come.
