GOOD NEWS: Chloe Kitts has officially ended speculation about her future, announcing her commitment to finish her collegiate career at the University of South Carolina under head coach Dawn Staley.

This decision solidifies the Gamecocks’ frontcourt stability as they aim to maintain their elite status in women’s college basketball.

Kitts, a 6-foot-2 junior forward from Oviedo, Florida, has been a cornerstone of South Carolina’s recent success. During the 2023–24 season, she played a pivotal role in the Gamecocks’ undefeated national championship run, averaging 9.1 points and 5.9 rebounds per game on 54.4% shooting. Her performance earned her a spot on the NCAA Final Four All-Tournament Team.

In the 2024–25 season, Kitts continued to elevate her game, recording South Carolina’s first triple-double since 2021 with 16 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists in a victory over Ole Miss. Her consistent contributions have been instrumental in the team’s strong performance, including a 23–3 record at one point in the season.

Head coach Dawn Staley has praised Kitts for her dedication and work ethic, noting her commitment to improving both on and off the court.
