Hailing from Huber Heights, Ohio, Brown is currently ranked as the nation’s No. 2 wide receiver and the No. 6 overall prospect in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

 

Standing at 5-foot-11 and weighing 160 pounds, Brown’s recruitment was highly competitive. He received offers from prominent programs such as Maryland, Notre Dame, Penn State, and Auburn. However, the allure of playing for his childhood favorite, Ohio State, proved decisive. Reflecting on his commitment, Brown expressed his lifelong affinity for the Buckeyes, stating, “It felt great, it was exciting. It’s all I thought about since I woke up. Especially since I’ve been an Ohio State fan my whole life.”

 

Brown’s athleticism is noteworthy. He boasts a 4.31-second 40-yard dash and has been clocked at 10.53 seconds in the 100-meter dash, finishing second in the state during his sophomore year. His speed translates effectively on the football field, allowing him to stretch defenses and create explosive plays.
