Ole Miss football has bolstered its 2025 recruiting class with the commitment of in-state linebacker Bryson Walters.
The 6-foot-2, 220-pound standout from Itawamba Agricultural High School in Mississippi chose the Rebels over offers from Southern Miss and Arkansas State, with significant interest from Auburn.
Walters has demonstrated exceptional performance over the past two seasons, recording 132 tackles, 21 quarterback hurries, and 12 tackles for loss as a junior. His senior year saw him amass 140 tackles and 18 tackles for loss, bringing his varsity totals to 272 tackles and 30 tackles for loss.
His commitment marks the 16th addition to head coach Lane Kiffin’s 2025 class and positions him as the second linebacker commit, joining four-star prospect Jarcoby Hopson. Walters is expected to enhance the Rebels’ linebacker corps, complementing underclassmen such as Suntarine Perkins, TJ Dottery, and Daniel Demery.
This commitment underscores Ole Miss’s dedication to securing top in-state talent and strengthening its defensive lineup for the future.
