The Tennessee Lady Volunteers are actively pursuing top talent in the NCAA transfer portal to strengthen their roster for the upcoming season.

Under the leadership of first-year head coach Kim Caldwell, the Lady Vols have already secured commitments from several notable transfers, including Alyssa Latham from Syracuse, Lazaria Spearman from Miami, Samara Spencer from Arkansas, and Ruby Whitehorn from Clemson.

One standout addition is Samara Spencer, a senior guard from Arkansas. Spencer has been instrumental for the Lady Vols, delivering record-breaking performances in her senior year. Her experience and skill set are expected to significantly bolster Tennessee’s backcourt.

Another significant acquisition is forward Alyssa Latham from Syracuse. As a true freshman, Latham led Syracuse in rebounding and blocks, showcasing her defensive prowess. Her ability to attack the basket and perform against top-tier opponents makes her a valuable asset for the Lady Vols.

Additionally, the Lady Vols have welcomed Rapuluchi Ayodele, a 6-foot-1 forward from Pitt. Ayodele played in all 32 games last season, starting 15, and brings experience and depth to Tennessee’s frontcourt.

These strategic additions reflect Coach Caldwell’s commitment to assembling a competitive team capable of contending at the highest levels. As the transfer portal remains active, recruiting analysts are closely monitoring the Lady Vols’ efforts to secure top talent and enhance their roster further.
