🚨JUST IN! Arsenal have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Nigerian international Ademola Lookman.

with an intermediary acting on behalf of Serie A side Atalanta to gauge the Gunners’ interest. The 26-year-old winger has been one of the standout performers for Atalanta over the past two seasons, playing a crucial role in their domestic campaigns and European exploits.

According to sources close to the situation, the proposal was made as part of Atalanta’s wider transfer strategy this summer, with the Italian club open to selling key players for the right price. Lookman, who famously scored a hat-trick in the 2024 Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen, has seen his stock rise significantly, attracting interest from several Premier League clubs.

For Arsenal, the offer presents an intriguing option. Mikel Arteta has been exploring ways to add more depth and unpredictability to his attack, particularly in the wide areas. While Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli remain undisputed starters, the addition of Lookman would provide valuable competition and tactical flexibility. His pace, dribbling ability, and eye for goal could give the Gunners another dimension in breaking down stubborn defences.

Atalanta are believed to value the forward at around £35–40 million, a fee that may be within Arsenal’s reach if they choose to pursue the deal. However, the North London club’s current priority is understood to be reinforcing midfield and central defence, meaning any move for Lookman could depend on player sales or changes in transfer priorities.

Lookman, who has previously played for Everton, Fulham, and Leicester City, is no stranger to English football and might welcome a return to the Premier League. For now, the ball is firmly in Arsenal’s court as they weigh up whether to turn this opportunity into a concrete bid.
