Who do you think is better: Odegaard vs De Bruyne
There are two who have stood out and it is a difficult call to see who is the best attacking midfielder right now between De Bruyne and Odegaard.
The Premier League is blessed with talents in the attacking midfield with players such as James Maddison, Bruno Fernandes and other like players.
Arsenal propelled themselves toward a first EPL title in 18 years last term, only to lose out to City due to a drop of form in the latter stages of the EPL.
1. Martin Odegaard
The Arsenal captain is one of the most exciting players to watch in the Premier League at the moment.
His ability to dribble past players with ease and find players as well as score crucial goals has set him apart to be one of the best players and attacking midfielders in the Premier League.
The Norwegian scored 15 goals and made 7 assists in 34 games for the Gunners as the challenged City for the title.
2. Kevin De Bruyne
The Manchester City player is injured with a knee problem and is expected to resume action in 3 months, however, his last season treble winning season as him one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League, if not the best.
The Belgian Is one of the best creative players with his ability to find players in the box.
Last season, he scored 7 goals and made 16 assists in 27 games in which he came on as a sub in 3 games.
The Belgian contributed to 23 goals through out the league competition.
However, Odegaard has scored two goals already this term. The Norwegian is playing more games than De Bruyne and if things stays like this, we might have an undisputed champion in Odegaard as the best attacking midfielder in the EPL.
The Belgian contributed to 23 goals of the league competition, compared to the Arsenal captain, who contributed 22 goals. For now, Kevin De Bruyne still has a claim to be ahead of the Norwegian but not for too long.
Giving their individual abilities on an injury free day, it will be very difficult to chose a starter amongst them. A good coach will have to ponder on both players not to make a deadly decision.
