Arsenal: Third Summer Signing Complete as Romano Confirms Next ‘Advanced’ Transfer is ‘Absolutely On’.

Arsenal have officially wrapped up their third major signing of the summer, with Noni Madueke joining from Chelsea in a £52 million deal. The winger completed his medical over the weekend and has penned a five-year contract with the Gunners, marking another statement of intent from Mikel Arteta’s side as they continue to build a title-challenging squad.

Madueke, 22, brings flair, pace, and directness to Arsenal’s attack. He joins Christian Nørgaard and Riccardo Calafiori as the club’s other completed summer acquisitions so far, with all three players expected to play key roles in the upcoming campaign. Arteta has prioritised depth and versatility in his squad, and Madueke’s arrival adds a different dimension to the right flank alongside Bukayo Saka.

Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Arsenal’s transfer business is far from done. Speaking on social media, Romano revealed that talks for Eberechi Eze are now in the “advanced” stage. The Crystal Palace star has been high on Arteta’s wish list, and Arsenal are pushing to finalise terms with both the club and the player. Romano stated the deal is “absolutely on,” with the Gunners confident of completing it in the coming days.

Eze’s potential arrival would further bolster Arsenal’s creative options, giving Arteta the flexibility to rotate across multiple attacking roles. With preseason in full swing, the club is determined to get its signings settled early, allowing new players to integrate ahead of a crucial campaign.

As things stand, Arsenal are showing serious ambition in the transfer market—and with more deals in the pipeline, the Gunners look ready to mount an even stronger title challenge

in 2025.
