🚨 Arteta Eyes Key Reinforcements Ahead of Pre-Season Push.

Mikel Arteta is planning a major summer rebuild as Arsenal prepare for a crucial 2025/26 campaign.

The Gunners boss wants to sign a left winger, a central striker, at least one midfielder, a centre-back, and a reserve goalkeeper—ideally before pre-season begins in early July.

After pushing Manchester City in the Premier League title race last season, Arsenal are determined to strengthen the depth and quality of their squad to finally end their wait for top-flight glory. The club’s recruitment team has already identified multiple targets, with talks underway to secure early deals and avoid last-minute scrambles.

A dynamic left winger is high on Arteta’s wishlist to add pace and unpredictability in wide areas, while a proven goal scorer is seen as essential to relieve the burden on Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz. In midfield, Arsenal are looking for a partner or alternative to Declan Rice, especially with Thomas Partey expected to leave. Reinforcements in defence are also a priority, with cover needed for William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães. Meanwhile, a back-up goalkeeper is being sought following Aaron Ramsdale’s potential departure in search of regular first-team football.

Arsenal’s pre-season schedule begins with a training camp in Spain before the squad heads to the Far East on July 19. Arteta is keen to integrate new signings early, allowing them to adapt to the team’s tactical system and build chemistry with teammates during the tour.

The coming weeks are set to be busy in North London as the Gunners look to complete their business swiftly. With Champions League football again on the horizon, Arteta knows that early preparation and squad depth could be the difference between another near miss and silverware.
