🚨 Crystal Palace Set Eze Price: Arsenal Told to Pay £35M Up Front.
Arsenal have been informed by Crystal Palace that they must pay £35 million up front if they wish to sign attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze this summer. Palace are willing to structure the rest of the deal in instalments, demanding an additional £32.5 million over time — bringing the total package to £67.5 million.
The 26-year-old England international has emerged as a top target for the Gunners as they aim to add more creativity and attacking depth to Mikel Arteta’s squad. With his dribbling ability, flair, and versatility, Eze has stood out as one of Palace’s brightest stars in recent seasons, attracting interest from several Premier League clubs.
Arsenal’s hierarchy are now considering whether to meet Palace’s financial demands, especially given the rigid upfront requirement. Sporting Director Edu Gaspar is believed to be in active talks with both the player’s camp and Palace, assessing how the deal can fit into Arsenal’s summer budget — particularly as the club continues to work on outgoings to raise funds.
While Arsenal are prepared to make a significant investment in a creative player, they are also monitoring other targets. However, the Gunners are aware that Eze’s release clause — which is set at £68 million — could attract other suitors, including Manchester City and Tottenham, if they delay further.
Eze, who scored 11 goals and provided 4 assists in the Premier League last season, is reportedly open to the move, viewing Arsenal as a step forward in his career and a chance to play Champions League football. With pre-season winding down and the Premier League season fast approaching, Arsenal may need to act quickly if they want to secure
the deal.
