Al-Ittihad president now hopes to reveal all “in respect to Mo Salah”

The president of Al-Ittihad mentioned Mo Salah by name while discussing the transfer actions of his team. He intends to make everything known shortly.

One of the biggest summer transfer stories was Mo Salah’s move to Al-Ittihad; it all happened in the final two weeks of the season. Huge bids were rumored to be made, possibly even breaking the world record to get the Egyptian to leave Liverpool.

Still, the Reds were never going to sell. It’s improbable that they would have taken any offers at the beginning of the window. When there’s almost little time left to find a substitute in the end? Not possible. Liverpool’s season would have been lost by the sale, and no amount of money—not even close to reasonable—would have justified that.

It’s unclear exactly what transpired, though. Al-Ittihad and Liverpool have not made any public acknowledgment of any bid. Anmar Al-Haili, the president of the Saudi Pro League team, has now made public reference to Salah.

He desires to make public all the details of the rejected offers for Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Ramos.

According to AS, he stated, “I stayed silent.” However, I’m hoping to react to what transpired about Salah, Ramos, and De Bruyne during the final week of the summer market as quickly as possible.

Looks like this one isn’t going away. Salah is, for starters, explicitly referred to as the “favourite” by Michael Emenalo, the Saudi Pro League’s director of football.

The biggest ‘get’ for Saudi football is Liverpool’s superstar, who represents Arabic football. They’re prepared to make these outrageous offers for a 31-year-old for a reason, after all.

Then, fans should get ready for 2024. Salah is still under contract with Liverpool, and there isn’t much motivation for the Reds to let him go anytime soon.

However, Al-Ittihad might offer them a cause to sell; at the very least, they’ll make an effort.

Everyone may now wait to hear Al-Haili’s explanation for the failures of the summer and why things didn’t work out. Maybe Salah and Liverpool just need to say no. Maybe there’s a more nuanced factor involved.
