Hull City have confirmed the signing of Liverpool midfielder, Fabio Carvalho on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 21-year-old is eager to begin the next phase of his career after everything has now been agreed upon and he traveled to Hull on Monday in preparation for medical examinations.
Liverpool selected the Championship team because they believe the Portuguese forward’s development depends critically on getting regular playing time.
His loan stint with Red Bull Leipzig was terminated due to too little playing time. And upon his return, a number of clubs, including Southampton, Wolves, Leeds United, and former club Fulham, made a compelling offer for his services.
According to the DailyMail, Hull’s style under Liam Rosenior and club mate Tyler Morton’s development while on loan there persuaded the Reds that the MKM Stadium is the best option.
Rosenior told the club’s official website: “I couldn’t be happier. Everyone is aware of Fabio’s ability, his qualities as a young player.
“I have to give Acun and Tan so much credit for the work they’ve done to bring him here. We’re building a reputation, not just in England but in Europe, for the way we develop players.
“Our style of play and ambition are really important factors in attracting players to the club.
“Fabio is excited to be coming here and I’m delighted to be working with him to the end of the season. Technically, he’s outstanding. He can assist, score and run in behind. He’s brave, quick, very balanced and takes the ball.
“Fabio’s got the ability to make a real impact on our season and get us to where we want to be.”l
