In the weekend, Salah scored his 200th goal while wearing a Liverpool shirt, tying the score against Crystal Palace.
Jurgen Klopp talked about how the Liverpool team gave Mo a commemorative shirt in the dressing room after the game.
Additionally, Salah posted a photo of himself with the entire Reds club standing behind him on his Instagram page yesterday. In the photograph, Salah is seen hoisting that exact shirt high.
Naturally, many of the individuals who assisted Mo in reaching that figure are no longer members of the club. One of them is Milner, who was the 31-year-old’s teammate at Anfield for six years.
And the Brighton native was unable to miss the opportunity to express his gratitude to a Liverpool icon. With the addition of the fire, heart, and applause emojis, Milner gave Salah his quiet congrats.

Perhaps instead of players like Jordan Henderson or Milner, fans would prefer to see guys like Dominik Szoboszlai or Ryan Gravenberch.
It was disappointing that Alexis Mac Allister, one of Liverpool’s recent additions, missed the chance to pose for a picture.
However, it’s important to never forget that a lot more people than those in that photo yesterday have a role in Salah’s tale at Liverpool.
The Reds lost several players over the summer who made significant contributions to the No. 11’s legacy at Anfield.
Their duties should not be overlooked just because they are no longer with us; they are out of sight but not out of mind.
In actuality, Roberto Firmino set up more goals than Salah did during his 200 goals for Liverpool. It is truly unfortunate that the Brazilian was unable to join his friend in celebrating. But that’s football.
To be sure, Milner’s contribution to Mo’s double century is less obvious. But without the 37-year-old’s influence, the Reds would not have won what they did, as Klopp has frequently stated. Salah and his 200 up surely stand to lose from that reasoning as well. Real knows real.
